New program at the Y

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

From time to time, the good folks at the Y send me information regarding
their latest and greatest new programs. Not a member of the Y? No worries,
there are many classes and programs you can sign up for as a non-member.
For further information about ALL of the Y’s upcoming programs for the new
session that begins in March, go to:

below please find detailed information regarding a brand new program that
will be led by Hanover’s own Ann Fraser:

COACHING & CALESTHENICS

Are you interested in the mind-body connection, holistic health, physical
fitness, energy, meditation, and mindfulness? We’ll exercise while learning
all about health and well-being. Each week will bring forth a new topic;
handouts will be provided so there’s no need for taking notes; includes:

. Two one-on-one (1-hour) private coaching sessions

. 10 exercise classes; movement and education together

. Educational Topics: Healthy eating for optimal energy and
well-being, mindfulness, healthy choices, the power of positive thinking,
lifestyle, stress reduction, and more!

. Exercises: Meditation, yoga/ stretching, strength training with the
use of bands and weights, circuit style stations, etc.

. Each class will begin with affirmations to set our intention,
followed by a warm-up, stretching and yoga moves, then we’ll use weights,
bands or circuits to include all. We’ll then discuss the topic of the week
before practicing meditation.no need for prior experience. That’s what
you’re coming here for!
