Hanover residents please register to donate bone marrow!

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

So many of you have had the good fortune of being a patient of my
friend Dr. Amanda Metzger at South Shore Medical Center or Crown ObGyn
that I could not resist sending this information out. I love going to
soccer or basketball games when Hanover plays Norwell and seeing the
cross-town rivalry dissolve when sitting with Amanda. She and her
husband Jon have been there for all of us; now we need to be there for
them. Please join me in coming to their son Nick’s assistance by
registering to be a part of the National Marrow Donor Program. Read
on!

Nick Metzger, friend of my son Dan, awesome 15 year old kid and son of
Drs. Jon and Amanda Metzger, needs a bone marrow transplant, but he
must find a matching donor. He is one of the thousands of patients
that search for a matching donor every day. The National Marrow Donor
Program is dedicated to creating an opportunity for all patients to
receive the marrow transplant they need. Could you be the one? By
joining the Registry at one of the donor drives, you just might “Be
The Match” that can save a patient’s or even Nick’s life. All it
takes is some cotton swabs to the inside of your cheek!
