Dear fellow Hanoverians:
Attached please find the unofficial election results from the Town of
Hanover in the Special State Election held on Tuesday, June 25, 2013.
Thank you to the 32% of the registered voters who voted in today’s
election.
This rookie clerk is here to tell you that our town is incredibly well
served by over 35 election workers who very ably managed today’s
election in challenging circumstances. A special shout out to Senior
Wardens Stephen Richardson and Walter Zemotel, Senior Registrar Nancy
Goldthwait and Registrars Pam (“Birthday Girl”) Ferguson and Kathy
DiSabito, and also Assistant Town Clerk JoAnne O’Connor who kept me
sane and “minded the fort” back at Town Hall. I am simply honored to
serve among you.
I would be remiss if I did not also mention the efforts and
cooperation from the Town Manager and his office staff, the incredible
staff of the Hanover High School, the hard-working members of the
Department of Public Works, and the fine officers of the Hanover
Police Department and Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department. It is
truly a town-wide and team effort to pull off an election! Thanks to
all!
