Register to vote by April 15th!

Dear fellow Hanoverians:
Hanover Town Clerk Cathy Harder-Bernier announced that Tuesday, April 15th
is the last day to register to vote in the upcoming town election.

“The act of voting is a cornerstone of our country’s democracy. It is a
right given to us by our forefathers that has been ensured by our veterans.
Voting is a privilege and a responsibility and all Hanover residents should
register to vote,” explained Harder-Bernier.

Any Hanover citizen who will be eighteen on or before the Election Day is
encouraged to register to vote. Once registered, individuals will be
eligible to vote in the town election on Saturday, May 10th.
Citizens of Hanover can conveniently register to vote by mail or in person.
If citizens choose to register by mail they should download the
“Massachusetts Mail-In Voter Registration Form” from
www.sec.state.ma.us and mail the completed form to the Hanover Town
Clerk’s Office.

If voters wish to register to vote in person, they may do so at two
convenient locations: Hanover Town Hall or the Registry of Motor Vehicles.
The Town Clerk’s/Registrar’s Office will remain open until 8 pm on
Tuesday, April 15th.
