Know before you go on Tuesday to vote in the Presidential Primary

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

An election day should not go by without an email reminder from me!
What’s your voting strategy? When will you find time in your day to go
vote?

Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Hanover High School, 287
Cedar Street on Tuesday, March 1. All four of our precincts vote in the
same location, but you are encouraged to “know before you go” to this
Presidential Primary!

If you are not sure which precinct line you will need to stand in, go to:
http://www.wheredoivotema.com/bal/myelectioninfo.aspx to find out your
precinct number. You will also find copies of all four possible ballots on
this results page once you type in your address.

What’s your registration status? Are you registered? Are you active or
inactive? This is a primary, which means there are multiple ballots. Are
you registered in a party (Democrat, Republican, United Independent Party
or Green-Rainbow)? Or perhaps “unenrolled” (commonly known as
independent). Which ballot will you be given or do you get to pick? Know
before you go! Go to
https://www.sec.state.ma.us/VoterRegistrationSearch/MyVoterRegStatus.aspx
to find out your registration status ahead of time.

Turnout will be heavy; please allow extra time to park, stand in line, and
go through the check-in and check-out processes.

See you Super Tuesday at the polls!
