Creative writing class for teens

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

Calling young creative writers on Saturday, November 25 from 2:00 – 4:00
p.m.! The Friends of the John Curtis Free Library are excited to sponsor a
2-hour writing workshop for young adults between the ages of 14-16 who
might be interested in further imagining characters that have come to their
minds. Jane Utley Adelizzi, Ph.D., a writer, visual artist, and retired
college professor, will encourage participants to draw, discuss,
hypothesize, and write about their characters to help fully develop these
fictional personalities. It’s a great way to launch that story!

This class is free of charge and is open to 10 young writers (8
participants needed to run the class). Registration is happening now at the
children’s circulation desk, downstairs at the library. Register early
while spaces remain! Please contact Tracy Marchetti,
tcjmarchetti@gmail.com, with any questions.
