Dear fellow Hanoverians:
I received an e-mail from a delightful “man about town” himself – John
Ferraro – asking me to recognize the hard work of Maggie and Mike Butler
for pulling together Saturday’s Hanover Clean-up Day. In John’s words, the
event was a “huge success and I know they both committed many hours to
leading this project. Our town is pretty and lucky to have the Butler
Family . . . ” I completely agree, John. It has been years and years
since Barbara Barker (Kemp) organized the “Trash for Bulbs” days and from
what I saw, Hanover needed some serious cleaning up. Thanks to everyone
who participated, and special thanks to the Butlers!
While I am at it, I will add that it was a terrific Hanover weekend on
several fronts – congratulations to the amazing Hanover High grads (and
their parents!), and a big shout out to Safe Grad Night organizers Liz
Costanza, Elaine Carroll and Joelle Gioioso! Further congratulations to
the Simple Gesture/”Cool Green Bag” participants and their fearless leader
It was a fabulous Blue and Gold weekend…and Hanover Day is only three
weeks away! Can it get any better than this?!?
