Summer reading kickoff at John Curtis Library

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

The children’s summer reading program at the John Curtis Library will get
underway on Monday, July 1 at 11:00 a.m. with a magic show by Scott
Jameson. Scott has performed at the library a number of times over the
years, always to very enthusiastic response from children and parents. His
shows are amazing, entertaining and educational, incorporating magic,
music, juggling and plenty of humor.

Registration for summer reading will begin right after the show. Children
will receive reading logs on which to record their reading time and earn
prizes throughout the summer.

This program is supported by a grant from the Hanover Cultural Council, a
local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a
state agency. Please register for the magic show from the Calendar section
of the library’s website, www.hanovermass.com/library. For more
information, call 781-826-272, extension 4, or email the children’s
librarian at lcampbell@ocln.org.
