Cushing Trader added to Retail Center at Cardinal Cushing

Dear fellow Hanoverians:

I was delighted to re-connect with Hanover resident Jane Spitz today who
sent along the following news from our very own Cardinal Cushing School in
Hanover:

Cardinal Cushing School welcomes the community to its Retail Center, which
is part of the vocational training program, located at 405 Washington Street
(Route 53), Hanover. Cushing Trader is the newest addition to the center.
Having opened in September, the boutique offers hand-made student
creations-from functional pottery and framed artwork, to note cards and
semi-precious stone and silver jewelry. Cushing Trader is open Monday –
Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The
Retail Center also includes a thrift shop, greenhouse, eat-in/take-out
baker, and a container redemption site. For information, please contact
Jane Spitz at jspitz@coletta.org or (781) 826-6371. Cardinal Cushing School
is a private, non-profit program for students with intellectual delays and
behavioral challenges who have not met success in other schools.
