The American Red Cross and Phoenix Masonic Lodge are holding a blood drive
\nto support the community blood supply for patients in need. Every two
\nseconds, someone in the United States needs blood, and every pint donated
\ncould save up to three lives.<\/p>\n
The Red Cross is urging Hanover residents to make an appointment to donate
\nblood at the below location by calling 1-800-REDCROSS or logging on to
\nRedCrossBlood.org. <\/p>\n

Blood drive: 7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. <\/p>\n
WHERE: Phoenix Masonic Lodge, 133 Broadway Street<\/p>\n
All presenting donors receive a candle from Yankee Candle. Join us for
\nHomemade Chowder and Breakfast Sandwiches!<\/p>\n
The American Red Cross Blood Services – Northeast Division must distribute
\napproximately 3,000 units of blood each day just to meet the basic needs of
\narea patients. Individuals who are at least 17 years of age (16 with
\nparental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good
\nhealth may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and donors 18
\nyears of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight
\nrequirements. Please bring your Red Cross blood donor card or other form of
\npositive ID when you come to donate.<\/p>\n
