at the Hanover Town Hall<\/p>\n
The Hanover Energy Advisory Committee and Sustainable Hanover
\n(www.sustainablehanover.org ) have
\npartnered with National Grid for the community’s premier Go Green Event. On
\nDecember 8th, National Grid will show Hanover residents that they have the
\n"Power to Save" at home and in the community. Educational and fun-filled
\nactivities will highlight what Hanover residents can do to protect the
\nenvironment by using energy more wisely.<\/p>\n
The Go Green Event features fun crafts children can take home, engaging
\nenergy experiments, exciting trivia contests for the entire family, great
\ngiveaways and even a special appearance by National Grid’s hybrid electric
\nvehicle. In addition to all of the hands-on activities, National Grid will
\nsponsor a fundraiser – featuring cookies and compact fluorescent light bulbs
\n(CFLs). Proceeds from this event will be set aside for an
\nenergy-efficiency-themed community project in the Town of Hanover. <\/p>\n
