I was delighted to realize today that the Hanover High School Swim Team is
\nnow in its 6th year of existence despite being a completely self-funded
\nsport. That’s an amazing track record of fundraising, and Hanover’s own
\nCoach Barb Toohey deserves much of the credit. In fact, the swim team has
\ngrown so big that the previously combined Hanover-Rockland team is now two
\nseparate teams and the Hanover team carries 40 swimmers! Barb sent along
\nthe following e-mail today that I am just thrilled to forward to ATOTW
\nreaders:<\/p>\n
Just passing along the info on the Hanover and Rockland High School
\nSwim\/Dive Teams Fundraiser on Saturday, Jan 22nd at the Harmon Golf Club
\nfrom 7:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Even though we have split into 2 separate teams
\nwe are doing this fundraiser jointly.<\/p>\n
As most of you know, the swim team is still a self funded sport at the high
\nschool and must raise all the money needed to cover their expenses each
\nseason. This fundraiser is our biggest fundraiser of the season and we hope
\nyou can join us and support the team! If you have any questions you can

We will have a DJ, light appetizers, a cash bar, a variety of raffle items
\nand silent auction items of sports memorabilia. It’s a fun night out to
\nsupport a great cause! Tickets are $15 per person and are available through
