Below please find some important dates related to the upcoming town
\nelections and town meeting in 2011. Mark your calendars now as it is the
\nonly time this information will be sent "Around Town on the Web"!<\/p>\n
The last day to take out nomination papers for the Annual Town Election is
\nThursday, March 17th at 5:00 p.m. at the Town Clerk’s Office.<\/p>\n
The following positions are available:<\/p>\n
BOARD OF ASSESSORS (3 YEAR TERM)<\/p>\n
BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS (3 YEAR TERM)<\/p>\n
MODERATOR (1 YEAR TERM)<\/p>\n
PLANNING BOARD (5 YEAR TERM)<\/p>\n
(2) SCHOOL COMMITTEE (3 YEARS)<\/p>\n
TRUSTEE OF PUBLIC LIBRARY (3 YEARS)<\/p>\n
(2) BOARD OF SELECTMEN (3 YEARS)<\/p>\n
BOARD OF HEALTH (3 YEARS)<\/p>\n
Last day to submit nomination papers to registrars of voters for
\ncertification, by 5:00 p.m. is Monday, March 21, 2011. Fifty (50) qualified
\nsignatures are required. Additional signatures should be obtained to allow
\nfor incorrect signatures.<\/p>\n
Last day to file nomination papers with Town Clerk by 5:00 p.m. is Monday,
\nApril 4, 2011.<\/p>\n
Last day to object or withdraw is Wednesday, April 6, 2011.<\/p>\n
Last day to register voters for Town Meeting and Town Election 8 a.m. – 8
\np.m. on Tuesday, April 12, 2011.<\/p>\n
Last day to post or publish warrant is Monday, April 25, 2011.<\/p>\n
Candidates Night is Tuesday, April 26, 2011.<\/p>\n
ANNUAL TOWN MEETING MAY 2, 2011 8:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
