Hanover’s schoolchildren will be delighted to learn that Cohasset native
\nastronaut Steve Bowen successfully lifted off into space yesterday on the
\nshuttle Discovery. Bowen is the brother of Hanover residents Nancy Atturio
\nand Dan Bowen, and uncle to several Hanover children. Most Hanover children
\nwill know Bowen as the astronaut who came to talk to their classes just this
\nyear, as well as in previous years.<\/p>\n
Bowen was a late addition to the Discovery crew due to a bike riding
\naccident on the part of one of the scheduled astronauts. This is his third
\ntrip into space, and he and the rest of the crew will be bringing needed
\nsupplies to the International Space Station.<\/p>\n
Godspeed, Steve Bowen. Come home safe. Hanover’s kids are rooting for you!<\/p>\n
