Along with the Hanover Board of Health and the Hanover Police Department,
\nthe U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (D.E.A.) is coordinating a nationwide
\none-day event to take back unwanted medications on Saturday, April 30, 2011
\nat the Hanover Senior Center, 665 Center Street, Hanover, between the hours
\nof 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. <\/p>\n
This national initiative will provide an opportunity for the public to
\nsurrender pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications to law
\nenforcement officers for destruction. Expired, unused or unwanted
\nsubstances in our homes are a potential source of supply for the increasing
\nabuse of pharmaceutical drugs in the United States and an unacceptable risk
\nto public health and safety.<\/p>\n
As with all "ATOTW" notices, this is the only e-mail you will receive
\nregarding this event, so mark your calendars now!<\/p>\n
