Have you ever wondered why someone runs for public office?<\/p>\n
For the answer to this question and more, please join the Hanover
\nWoman’s Club, Juniors at their Annual Candidate’s Night on Tuesday,
\nApril 26th, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Large Meeting Room of the Hanover
\nTown Hall.<\/p>\n
The program will consist of a three minute presentation by each
\ncandidate, followed by a question and answer period by you the voters.
\nWe have 12 candidates running for office. The positions they would
\nlike to fill are: School Committee – 3 year term; Selectmen – 3 year
\nterm; Board of Public Works – 3 year term; Board of Health – 3 year
\nterm; Moderator – one year term, Assessor and Library Trustee. Among
\nthe candidates will be four people running for two spots on the School
\nCommittee, which will surely generate some lively discussion!<\/p>\n
This is your town and what happens in town affects you! As stated
\nabove, join us at the Hanover Woman’s Club, Juniors Annual Candidate’s
\nNight on Tuesday, April 26th, 2011 at 7:00 p.m., in the Conference
\nRoom of the Hanover Town Hall and meet and listen to the candidates
\nwho want your vote! <\/p>\n
