â??Two Old Friendsâ?? will make a welcome return to the John Curtis
\nLibrary on Wednesday, April 27th at 7:00 p.m. With banjo, guitar,
\nmandolin, concertina, and octave mandolin, Mac McHale and Emery
\nHutchins tell a story in music of how immigrants came to this country
\nfrom Ireland, Scotland, and Great Britain, bringing their melodies and
\ninstruments. The Two Old Friendsâ?? performance includes ballads,
\ngospel sing-a-longs, traditional Irish tunes, and storytelling. This
\nconcert is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. Admission is free
\nand refreshments will be served.<\/p>\n
