Now that the dust has settled and I have adjusted to the new software
\nthat we are using for \u201cAround Town on the Web\u201d (ATOTW), I wanted
\nto take a moment to update all of you regarding the new procedures
\nneeded to be added or deleted from the ATOTW e-mail distribution list.<\/p>\n
If you or anyone you know would like to be added to ATOTW, please know
\nthat we do not do so manually anymore! Please simply click on the link
\nthat appears toward the bottom of every e-mail blast and follow the
\ndirections thereafter. Or, if you don\u2019t have a recent e-mail handy,
\nyou may also go to www.atotw.com
\n and click on the tab at the top of the page that says \u201cSign Up!\u201d
\nAfter doing so, you will receive an automated e-mail that asks you to
\nconfirm that you wish to be signed up. Oftentimes such e-mails end up
\nin your spam filter or junk mail folder, so make sure you look for it
\nand then confirm your request to sign up. I just checked; we currently
\nhave seven requested users who have not yet confirmed their interest
\nin being added!<\/p>\n
The same basic procedures apply to requests to be dropped from ATOTW.
\nFind the link at the bottom of an e-mail, click on it and confirm your
\nwish to be dropped.<\/p>\n
Even though we have gone to this automated sign-up system (that will
\nsurely make my life easier given how large ATOTW has become), please
\nknow that there is always a person behind the e-mails. Don\u2019t
