This just in from the new Commander of Hanover\u2019s American Legion…<\/p>\n
Hello Town of Hanover! I recently became the Commander of the \u201cSmoke
\nFree\u201d American Legion on King Street in Hanover. There have been
\nmany improvements at the Legion over the past couple of months
\nincluding new carpeting, a new dance floor and a new bar, thereby
\nmaking the establishment more inviting to be a member or to rent the
\nhall upstairs. The Legion also became \u201csmoke free\u201d last year prior
\nto the new paint job and renovations. <\/p>\n
My goal is also to increase memberships of military members, families
\nof service members and sponsored members to raise money for high
\nschool scholarships as well as to give back to the community. A few
\nevents are happening over the next couple of months include a meat
\nraffle on Sunday, June 26th at 2:00 p.m., a Karaoke night on Saturday
\nJuly 23rd at 7:00 p.m., and a Hawaiian Luau on August 6th at 7:00 p.m.
