The supply of type O negative blood at the American Red Cross has
\ndropped to critical levels.
\nType O negative blood is always in high demand because it can be
\ntransfused to patients with any blood type, especially in emergency
\nsituations. While all blood types are needed during the summer months,
\nthe Red Cross urges those eligible donors with blood type O negative
\nto make and keep appointments to give blood this summer. They highly
\nencourage all type O negative blood donors who meet the eligibility
\nrequirements to double the difference by becoming a double red cell<\/p>\n
donor. If eligible, you can give two donations at once.<\/p>\n
There are two opportunities to donate in Hanover this summer.
\n*Friday, July 15th *
\n98.5 – The Sports Hub at the Hanover Mall
\n1:00 p.m. \u2013 7:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
*Saturday, July 16th *
\nHanover Mall \u2013 Macy\u2019s Wing
\n10:00 a.m. \u2013 3:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
Donate blood in July and receive a coupon for a free carton of ice
\ncream at Friendly\u2019s.<\/p>\n
