Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
In case you haven\u2019t driven through the center of town during the day
\nthis week, you may not know that the Town of Hanover Parks and
\nRecreation day camp has commenced! Drop off starts at 8:30 a.m. and
\npick-up is at 2:30 p.m. Traffic is always tied up the first couple of
\ndays, but it does smooth out as the summer goes along. If you are able
\nto take an alternate route during those times, however, it might be to
\nyour advantage!<\/p>\n
More important, however, is the fact that the B. Everett Hall
\nPlayground Complex is a \u201cclosed campus\u201d during camp hours (Monday
\n– Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.). The playground (including the tot
\nlot), tennis court, basketball courts, street hockey rink, volleyball
\narea, bandstand, fields, etc. are *\/all not available\/* for use by the
\ngeneral public during those times. The Parks and Recreation Department
\nhas been charged with the safety of literally hundreds of Hanover\u2019s
\nchildren enrolled in the Park and Rec program, and nothing is more
\nimportant! <\/p>\n
The Parks and Recreation Committee recognizes that this will result in
\nsome schedule juggling for townspeople for the 8 weeks that camp runs,
\nand appreciates the understanding of everyone involved. For more
