Three summer raffle baskets will be at the library on July 5 until
\nLabor Day thanks to the Friends of the John Curtis Library. Get ready
\nto buy your chances for these incredible baskets and support the
\nlibrary programs and passes that you enjoy! <\/p>\n
Thanks to the many local businesses who have made donations, you might
\nwin an American Girl Basket with Kanani (this year\u2019s American Girl
\nDoll), her books, and many accessories (retail value of $200). The
\nHanover Basket contains a $100 Bowling\/Pizza Party for Four at Boston
\nBowl Hanover, a $50 savings account at Hingham Institution for
\nSavings, $75 worth of toys from the Toy Box, a $25 gift certificate to
\nJC\u2019s Ice Cream, 5 passes to the Patriot Cinemas, and much more
\n(retail value of $415). Best of all, the Good Life Basket contains two
\nRED SOX tickets (many thanks to Alvin Hollis), a 3-month Family
\nMembership to the South Shore YMCA, a bag of Trader Joe\u2019s
\nbestsellers, a Jelly watch, and lots of exceptional and unique gift
\ncertificates (retail value over $850). You can see all that these
\nbaskets have to offer at the circulation desks. <\/p>\n
The Friends of the John Curtis Free Library extend our sincere
\ngratitude to all of the wonderful local businesses who have made these
\nbaskets possible: Alvin Hollis, the South Shore YMCA, Trader Joe\u2019s,
\nWild Birds Unlimited, Avitabile Fine Jewelers, Crossroads Caf\u00e9 &
\nDeli, Gunther Tooties, Hilliards House of Candy, Curry ACE Hardware,
\nNella Pasta, Sommer\u2019s Bounty (excellent homemade jams and jellies),
\nStorybook Cove, the Toy Box, Hingham Institution for Savings, Rockland
\nAthletic Supplies, Shaw\u2019s, Mamma Mia\u2019s, JC\u2019s Ice Cream, the
\nPottery Playce, and Starland Sports and Fun Park. We urge patrons to
\nrepay their community goodwill by using their services whenever
\npossible.<\/p>\n
Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and may be purchased at the library
\nduring regular library hours beginning July 5 until Labor Day. Buy
\noften and buy lots! We will draw the winning ticket right after Labor
\nDay. All proceeds from this event will benefit future library programs
\nand acquisitions. Thanks in advance for your support of this program
\nwhich will only enhance our already wonderful library.<\/p>\n
