Dear fellow Hanoverians:
\nThe Zip Trip is coming; the Zip Trip is coming! Fox25 will be here in
\nHanover on Friday, August 19th and filming is slated to go from 6:00
\na.m. \u2013 10:00 a.m. at Briggs Field. As always, our very own Hanover
\nPolice Department is ready to handle the anticipated crowds and
\nparking issues. The following information is just in from the Chief!
\nParking will be available on Friday morning between 6:00 a.m. and
\n11:00 a.m. for residents who are attending the Zip Trip event at the
\nBriggs Ball Field at the following locations: Town Hall Parking Lot,
\nCenter Elementary School, Briggs\u2019 Stable, and the Main Street Field
\nentrance. This entrance will be located on the north side of the ball
\nfield and will be marked with signage. The short portion of Center
\nStreet between Hanover Street and Main Street (between the ball field
\nand the Congregational Church) will be closed and detoured. Anyone
\nattending the event is urged to drive directly to one of the parking
\nlocations and walk to the event. Hanover Police Officers will be
\npresent for traffic control.
\nThanks Chief Sweeney! I will add that this is the last day of Park and
\nRec in the center of town at the B. Everett Hall Playground Complex;
\nif you are planning to drop your child(ren) off that morning, you may
\nwant to go down Route 53 and back up Route 139 if you are coming from
\nthe north side of town!<\/p>\n
