Find out on Thursday, September 15, 2011, when<br \/>\nEyes on Owls presents a live owl program in conjunction with the<br \/>\nHanover Garden Club at 7:00 p.m. at the Phoenix Hall Lodge on Broadway<br \/>\nat Four Corners. All who attend are in for some fun with educational<br \/>\nclose-up views of these secretive birds of prey. Naturalist Marcia<br \/>\nWilson will present &#8220;Who&#8217;s Watching You? Owls of the World.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Wilson introduces the audience to owls found in New England as well as<br \/>\nother parts of the world. A slide show begins the program by<br \/>\nshowcasing colorful wildlife photos by her husband Mark Wilson. Marcia<br \/>\nimitates the owls&#8217; calls herself, paying special attention to the more<br \/>\ncommon owls that we might encounter in our area. After a hooting<br \/>\nlesson and much audience participation, Marcia brings out the live<br \/>\nowls one at a time. With each owl perched securely on her gloved hand,<br \/>\nshe walks out among the audience with six or seven owls. There is<br \/>\nplenty of time for close-up views, photos, and questions.<\/p>\n<p>Each owl presented has a permanent disability which prevents it from<br \/>\nsurviving in the wild.
