The Friends of the John Curtis Free Library are very pleased to
\nannounce the winners of their summer raffle baskets. Congratulations
\nto Cathy Campo who won the Kanani\/American Girl Basket, Griffin
\nCorrick who won the Hanover Raffle Basket, and Peter Whitney who won
\nthe Red Sox\/Good Life Basket. Many, many thanks to all who
\nparticipated in this annual event and helped raise hundreds of dollars
\nfor library programs and passes. <\/p>\n
The Friends of the John Curtis Free Library extend their sincere
\ngratitude to all of the wonderful local businesses who made these
\nbaskets possible: Alvin Hollis, the South Shore YMCA, Trader Joe\u2019s,
\nWild Birds Unlimited, Avitabile Fine Jewelers, Crossroads Caf\u00e9 and
\nDeli, Gunther Tooties, Hilliard\u2019s House of Candy, Curry ACE
\nHardware, Nella Pasta, Sommer\u2019s Bounty (homemade jams and jellies),
\nStorybook Cove, the Toy Box, Hingham Institution for Savings, Rockland
\nAthletic Supplies, Shaw\u2019s, Mamma Mia\u2019s, JC\u2019s Ice Cream, the
\nPottery Playce, and Starland Sports and Fun Park. The Friends urge
\npatrons to repay their community goodwill by using their services
\nwhenever possible.<\/p>\n
