*The Walnut Hill Garden Club of Hanover* invites interested members of
\nthe public to a free lecture and slide show on Tuesday evening,
\nOctober 4th at 7:15 p.m. at the Phoenix Lodge in Hanover\u2019s Four
\nCorners.* *Christine Schadler, wildlife researcher, educator and New
\nHampshire sheep farmer, will speak about the Eastern Coyote and Red
\nWolf hybrid that shares our landscape, its place in our ecosystem, and
\nhow farmers, gardeners and suburban dwellers can live together and
\neven benefit from the coyote. Christine has researched and lectured on
\nwolves and coyotes for more than 30 years and has a particular
\ninterest in managing livestock to avoid predation. She is the New
\nEngland representative for Project Coyote, a national conservation
\ngroup that promotes coexistence with coyotes. She is currently writing
\na book called \/”Becoming Wolf: Eastern Coyote in New England.” \/To

Walnut Hill Garden Club of Hanover, Massachusetts was founded in 1967
\nand in 1969 became a member of the National Council of Federated
\nGarden Clubs incorporated in St. Louis, Missouri. It is a member of
\nthe South Shore District of the Garden Club Federation of
\nMassachusetts based in Wellesley Hills, MA. The club’s objectives are
\nto promote the advancement of gardening, concern for the environment,
\nencouragement of individual creativity, civic involvement through
\nbeautification and education, and the cultivation of friendship within
\nthe community. The club’s activities are limited to and operated
\nexclusively for charitable and educational purposes.<\/p>\n
