Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
The Hanover Foundation for Educational Enrichment invites residents to
\nattend their first meeting for the 2011-2012 school year on Thursday,
\nSeptember 22nd at 7:30 p.m. It will be held at Crescent Realty, 228
\nColumbia Road.<\/p>\n
The Foundation is a volunteer, non-profit organization with a broad
\nmission to foster excellence and innovation in the education of young
\npeople in the Hanover Public Schools. The Foundation’s objective is to
\nraise funds for educational enrichment programs that benefit all
\nstudents. Last year the Foundation appropriated $12,000 in funds for
\ngrants submitted by teachers throughout the school system. <\/p>\n
HFEE has a busy schedule planned for this year. They hope that you
\nwill consider participating in some of their events. Please stay tuned
\nto ATOTW for more details about their work with Newcomers on the
\nAnchor Race, \u201cDine with a Cause\u201d in October, the Middle School art
\ncontest for the Golden Apple card in January, their spring fundraiser
\nwith Jim Plunkett, and the Golden Apple Recognition Program at the end
\nof the school year.<\/p>\n
As a new school year begins, HFEE invites and encourages you to become
\ninvolved in the Hanover Foundation. If you share their belief that a
\nstrong educational system benefits everyone within the community and
\nyou want to make a difference to improve the quality of education for
\nthe children of Hanover, then join them on Thursday, September 22nd! <\/p>\n
