Dear fellow Hanoverians:
\nJoin Hanover\u2019s Open Space Committee (OSC) and walk the Fireworks
\nTrail on Saturday, September 24, 10:00 a.m.<\/p>\n
Check out the newly improved Fireworks loop. This adventurous trail
\nallows you to traverse much of this lovely, water view filled 130
\nacres. Thanks to the Hanover DPW for their work to clear the last
\nsection of the trail, thereby ensuring the ability to close this 3 – 4
\nmile loop!<\/p>\n
Parking is available at the main entrance on King Street, directly
\nacross from the new Forge Pond\/King Street fields. Please bring water,
\nsturdy shoes and bug spray. Walkers can complete either the full loop,
\nor explore just a portion of the trail as an out and back walk.<\/p>\n
Stay informed about activities and volunteer opportunities: you can
\nfind the OSC on Facebook: Hanover Open Space, the web:
\nhttp:\/\/www.hanover-ma.gov\/open-space.shtml
\n, or join their Yahoo Group: HanoverOpenSpace. In addition, the OSC
\nwants input from the equestrian community in town. Please let the OSC
\nknow if you can contribute your specialized knowledge and needs to
\ntheir volunteer committee. They would also like to hear from you if
\nyou are simply interested in more information on the work of the
\ncommittee. The Open Space Committee meets regularly on the 1st Monday
\nof each month at 7:30 p.m. at Hanover Town Hall.<\/p>\n
