The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (D.E.A.) is coordinating, with the
\nHanover Board of Health and the Hanover Police Department, a
\nnationwide one-day event to take back unwanted medications on
\n*Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Hanover Senior Center, 665 Center
\nStreet, Hanover, between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.* <\/p>\n
This national initiative will provide an opportunity for the public to
\nsurrender pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications
\nto law enforcement officers for destruction. Expired, unused or
\nunwanted substances in our homes are a potential source of supply for
\nthe increasing abuse of pharmaceutical drugs in the United States and
\nan unacceptable risk to public health and safety.<\/p>\n
