Hanover Parks and Recreation is offering Ski\/Snowboard Lessons at Blue
\nHills!<\/p>\n
Once again this winter Parks and Rec will be offering ski and
\nsnowboard lessons at Blue Hills! Children aged 2nd \u2013 8th grade are
\neligible. Buses will leave the Rec Center at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday
\nafternoons. 90 minute lessons will begin at 4:00 p.m. and buses will
\ndepart from Blue Hills at 5:45 p.m., arriving back at the Rec Center
\nat 6:30 (due to traffic, return time may vary by a few minutes).
\nChildren may choose to bring or rent equipment. Helmets are not
\nrequired, however they are STRONGLY encouraged. Classes will take
\nplace for 5 Tuesdays starting January 10th. Hanover will be sharing a
\nbus with Abington and Rockland again and Randolph as well this year!
\nEvery participant will be given a Blue Flex Pass to be worn during
\nlessons or open ski, which is their pass to ski or snowboard. After
\nthe lessons are done, your child keeps this pass and you can add day
\npasses to their pass to go to Blue Hills again. All participants will
\nwear a fabric vest to clearly define them as part of our group.<\/p>\n
Parks and Rec is also offering Open Ski for experienced children who
\ndo not need direct supervision on the slopes. <\/p>\n
*All registrations must be in by December 20th; any registrations made
\nbetween the dates of Dec. 21st to Jan 2nd will have an additional $10
\nadded on. Blue Hills will not accept additional registrations after
\nJan 2nd.*<\/p>\n
This is a GREAT holiday present for the kids!<\/p>\n
*Ages:* 2nd \u2013 8th grade

\n*Time:* Bus leaves Rec Center at 3:00 p.m. returning at 6:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
*Cost:* $220 for ski\/snowboard lesson; $295 for ski\/snowboard lesson
\nwith rental; $145 for open ski<\/p>\n
*When:* Tuesdays, 1\/10, 1\/17, 1\/24, 1\/31 & 2\/7 (additional weeks will
\nbe added on if there are weather closings)<\/p>\n
