This is the 29th year that the Stetson House has been welcoming
\nChristmas to Hano\u00adver, and the theme this year is “Santa Claus at the
\nStetson House”.<\/p>\n
*Ornaments are back! *<\/p>\n
Yvonne Bright has designed the classic \u201cSanta Claus\u201d ornament for
\nthis year’s 2011 Christmas ornament. Ornaments may be purchased
\nthrough the Friends of the Stetson House for $10 each and picked up at
\nthe Stetson House concert or during the opening weekend. Please make
\nout and send your checks to: Friends of the Stetson House, P.O. Box
\n2064 in Hanover.
\n*Preview Party and Concert*<\/p>\n
On Friday December 2nd, the Stetson House will open its doors from
\n6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. for a special preview. Attending the Preview
\nParty at the Stetson House has become the tra\u00addition to welcome the
\nholiday season in Hanover. The House is at its best as the win\u00addow
\ncandles will be turned on for the first time, and the rooms will glow
\nwith holiday cheer.
\nThe preview opening of the Stetson House is followed by a special
\nholiday concert at 8:00 p.m. given by the Harbour Choral Arts Society,
\nwhich was founded in Hanover. It is directed by David A. Williams,
\nwith accompanist, Brendon Santani. The concert will be presented at
\nthe Congregational Church across the street from the Stetson House.
\nAfter the concert, ticket holders are invited to Congregational
\nChurch\u2019s Parish Hall (Riley Hall) for refreshments and a social
\ntime.
\nTickets are limited and are $10 each. This includes the evening tour
\nof the Stetson House, the concert, and wonderful refreshments. Tickets
\nmay be ordered through the Friends of the Stetson House, P.O. Box 2064
\nin Hanover (they will be mailed to you if you include a
\nself-addressed, stamped envelope) or purchased at the John Curtis
\nLibrary or at the Town Clerk’s office on the lower level of the Town
\nHall. Don’t miss this gala evening. The table topiaries and
\ndecorations will be on sale that evening.
\n*Open House and Greens Sale*
\nThe traditional favorite Wreath and Greens Sale will take place on
\nSaturday, December 3, 2011 from 1:00 \u2013 4:00 p.m. and is repeated
\nSunday, December 4, 2011 from 1:00 \u2013 4:00 p.m. Don\u2019t miss it!<\/p>\n
