“With the buzz surrounding the school budget crisis in Hanover, I
\nwanted to pass along two EASY ways to get more money for our schools.
\nThey both only take three minutes to register for, and our schools can
\nbenefit from us taking the time to do so.<\/p>\n
1. Stop and Shop A+ Program:<\/p>\n
If you have a Stop and Shop card, now is the time to register it
\non-line with the Stop and Shop A+ Program! It’s free and easy and for
\nevery dollar you spend from now until March, Stop and Shop will donate
\nmoney to our schools. Time is of the essence on this one.<\/p>\n
Please follow this link: http:\/\/www.stopandshop.com\/aplus
\n and click on \u201cregister your card\u201d on the left-hand side of the
\npage to register on-line. You can register for:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Center School (code 09333)
\n\u2022 Sylvester School (code 09350)
\n\u2022 Middle School (code 07457)
\n\u2022 Hanover High School (code 10540)
\n\u2022 Cedar School (code 07296)<\/p>\n
Each month, the amount of CASH awarded will be updated on the Stop and
\nShop website. You can track the amount of points you earn for our
\nschools by checking your grocery receipt. Our schools will receive a
\ncheck at the end of the program.<\/p>\n
2. Target REDcard<\/p>\n
Simply log on to http:\/\/www.target.com\/tcoe
\n, and register your Target REDcard to get 1% of your purchases sent to
\nthe schools. The Target REDcard also gives you 5% back on your own
\npurchases.<\/p>\n
Currently there are only 25 cards registered to: Center School (ID#
\n59318), 3 to Sylvester School (ID# 59320), 26 to Cedar School (ID#
\n59317), 14 to the Middle School (ID# 59321), and 11 to the High School
\n(ID# 59319). Every August Target will send a check to our principals.<\/p>\n
If we could get 1% of every purchase made by a Hanover resident to go
\nto our schools, I can only imagine how much money we could earn. Even
\nresidents without children in school could pick any of the public
\nschools to donate to. It costs them nothing and better schools =
\nbetter property values.<\/p>\n
Please pass this e-mail along to everyone you know. Other Hanover
\nparents and family and friends in other towns can do it too. Together
\nwe can make a big difference!”<\/p>\n
