\nThis just in from Kellyann Draheim, coach of the Hanover\/Rockland High
\nSchool gymnastics team!
\n\u201cHanover\/Rockland girls\u2019 gymnastics came out of the gates strong
\nas they finished their first meet January 4th with a win over
\nCarver\/Sacred Heart\/Duxbury by a score of 124.6 to 120.2.
\nOn floor, Kaitlyn Powers\u2019 rivoting performance of a 9.2 awarded her
\nfirst place for Hanover, while her teammate, Brittany Ainslie, tied
\nfor 2nd with an 8.6 with Carver\u2019s Nate Singer. Marina Goba, also of
\nHanover, received 3rd place with a personal best of an 8.4. Carver\u2019s
\nNicole Orlando placed first on bars with an 8.6, while Kaitlyn Powers
\nand Nate Singer tied for 2nd with 7.9. Hanover\u2019s Mikaela Draheim,
\ntook 3rd with a 7.5.
\nKaitlyn Powers took another 1st on beam with a 7.9, Brittany Ainslie
\ntied with Nicole Orlando for 2nd with a 7.6, while Mikaela Draheim was
\nawarded 3rd place. Brittany Ainslie\u2019s powerful vault was awarded
\nfirst place with an 8.9, while Kaitlyn Powers received third with an
\n8.35. On the all-around, Hanover\u2019s Kaitlyn Powers finished strong
\nwith a 33.3 winning her the honor of first place, while teammate
\nBrittany Ainslie was close behind with a 32.4, placing 2nd. Well done
\nHanover\/Rockland Girls High School Gymnastics!”<\/p>\n
