*The Walnut Hill Garden Club of Hanover* invites interested members of
\nthe public to a free lecture on Tuesday evening, April 3rd at 7:15
\np.m., at the Phoenix Masonic Lodge, near the corner of Broadwayand
\nWashington Streets. Their featured speaker is Rita Wollmering, founder
\nof The HERB FARMacy, a farm located in Salisbury, MA, that specializes
\nin growing certified organic plants. A popular and dynamic speaker,
\nMs. Wollmering will explore easy things everyone can do to be more
\n\u201cgreen\u201d and more environmentally-friendly in their own gardens.
\nBlending ideas for organic gardening, sustainable agriculture and
\ncreative uses of herbs, Rita will share practical ways for
\ntransitioning to organic practices in gardens and lawns and discuss
\nprinciples and benefits of organic gardening, including companion
\nplanting to mix the right plants in order to unleash their natural
\nability to repel pests or enhance healthy growth. Join the Walnut Hill
\nGarden Club for an informative, interactive, and entertaining evening.
