Dear fellow Hanoverians:
\nThe warm weather was upon us the past couple of weeks, and many of us
\nwere delighted to throw open our windows for the first time in months.
\nUnfortunately, area thieves seized upon the opportunity as well and
\nwere back in action breaking into Hanover homes.
\nThis is just a friendly reminder to Hanover residents to be alert for
\nsuspicious activity involving residential house breaks. Hanover Police
\nhave investigated two in the past couple of weeks and want to remind
\nresidents to call 911 anytime that they feel that something suspicious
\nmay be happening around their neighborhood. <\/p>\n
The two breaks were in the north end of Hanover (Webster Street area)
\nand occurred during daytime hours during the workweek. No vehicles
\nwere seen in area. Entry was gained either by a locked door (smashed
\nin) or unlocked door. Items taken included guitars, laptops and mainly
\njewelry. Most likely more than one person was involved. Targeted
\nhouses did not have any vehicles in driveways at the time of the
\nbreak-in and both homes did not have garages. Also, targeted homes are
\non well traveled roadways and not set off the roadway. If you have any
\nfollow-up non-urgent information in regards to these break-ins, please
\ncontact Hanover Police Detectives at (781) 826-2335. Evolving or
\nsuspicious situations always warrant a 911 call, though! <\/p>\n
