Dear fellow Hanoverians:<\/p>\n
Please start your spring cleaning and plan to donate soon to the
\nAnnual Book and Bake Sale (Saturday, May 19) as hosted by the Friends
\nof the John Curtis Free Library! Donations will be gratefully accepted
\nfrom April 30\u2013 May 18.<\/p>\n
This is the biggest fundraiser for the Friends, and they rely on the
\ntown to donate any and all books, CDs, tapes, DVDs, videos, and
\npuzzles in good condition. Please gather these items now for the
\nlibrary and help fund extra programs, book acquisitions, and
\nmuseum\/cultural passes for all.
\nDo you enjoy reading the latest novels? Are you a Barnes and Noble
\nregular? Do you belong to a book group? Do you have a stash of former
\nbestsellers that are just gathering dust on your shelves? The Friends
\nare also in need of some of the more popular and recent bestsellers.
\nThanks in advance for these special donations that will enhance our
\nonce-a-year sale.
\nAll donations may be dropped off at the library during regular library
\nhours. The library will continue to accept donations until Friday, May
\n18 (no magazines or textbooks please). Please be advised that the
\npublic book sale room will be closed beginning April 30 so that they
\nmay organize for the sale.<\/p>\n
The Friends are also looking for people who can help with the bake
\nsale at this event. If you are interested in baking, please sign the
\nlist at either the adult or the children circulation desks or contact
\nTracy Marchetti at tjmarchetti@verizon.net<\/p>\n
