Dear fellow Hanoverians:
\nThere will be two benefit concerts at Hanover High School’s Robert J.
\nNyman Memorial Auditorium on the nights of Friday, May 4th and
\nSaturday, May 5th. The shows are part of the Senior Capstone Project
\nof Hanover High seniors Alex Sennett and Tyler Cheo. Their band,
\nHanover’s own Risky Business Band, (including Myles Sweeney, junior at
\nHanover High, and Ben Shirley, junior at Brooks Academy in Beverly)
\nwill headline the event. The show will feature magic, comedy, and of
\ncourse music; and is raising money for three groups: the Cancer
\nSupport Community of the South Shore, the individual class treasuries
\nof Hanover High School (Classes of ’12, ’13, ’14, and ’15), and the
\nHanover High School Music Department.
\n The goal of the project, say organizers Sennett and Cheo, is “to
\nraise funds for worthy causes with a professional quality event, one
\nthat a person would pay to see in a professional venue.” The students
\nhope to gain real world experience out of planning and executing
\nevents of this magnitude. Tickets are $5 for any student (college or
\nhigh school) from any town, and $10 for adults. Doors will open at
\n7:00 p.m. and the show will begin at 7:30 p.m. each night.
