*Come and play at Hanover Day this weekend!*<\/p>\n
Final preparations are being made for this Saturday\u2019s Hanover Day
\ncelebration, which launches its full slate of activities promptly at
\n10:00 a.m. on June 16. The fun continues all day long at B. Everett
\nHall\/Sylvester Field, with a spectacular fireworks display capping off
\nthe full day of activities at 9:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
The craft fair artisans and vendors \u2013 more than 150 of them \u2013 are
\nready to show off their latest items, and numerous community groups
\nwill be there to provide information about how you can get involved in
\ntown organizations.<\/p>\n
This year, the Main Stage has been moved from the bandstand and will
\nquite literally be at the center of the action. Scheduled performances
\ninclude local bands and singers, while on the second stage, daytime
\nactivities include animal shows by the South Shore Natural Science
\nCenter, the Talking Hands Theater Puppet Show, Fashion Focus fashion
\nshow, and Zumba with Jodi Craft. Local magician and recent Hanover
\nHigh graduate John Logan will perform, and Radio Disney will also
\nfeature the latest music and fun. Across the street at the Stetson
\nHouse, artisans will demonstrate wood turning, tools, and other
\ntraditional skills, an exhibit will explain Hanover\u2019s shipbuilding
\nhistory, and one of the garden clubs will help kids build their own
\nfairy houses.<\/p>\n
With sports activities (including hockey clinics, football drills,
\nsoccer camp, and Knucklebones games), a children\u2019s art project,
\nbouncy houses, a dunk tank, clown performances, chainsaw carving, and
\na chalk-art contest all commanding your attention, be sure to set
\naside time for something to eat from one of the many local food
\nvendors!<\/p>\n
Daytime activities will run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at B. Everett
\nHall\/Sylvester Field on Hanover Street, with the evening activities
\nscheduled from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The fireworks are scheduled for
