Dear fellow Hanoverians:
\nThis summer, two Hanover High School juniors are traveling to Haiti
\nfor a week. Nora Ghostlaw and Marissa Tofuri are traveling to
\nBon-Repos, Haiti, the hometown of Marissa’s mom, Kerline, for a week
\nof volunteer work. Regular readers of \u201cAround Town on the Web\u201d
\nwill remember the good works of Hanover\u2019s own Kerline Tofuri. Those
\nnew to ATOTW are encouraged to check the archives (link below) for
\nfurther information!<\/p>\n
Nora and Marissa (editor\u2019s note: two of my favorite Hanover High
\nstudents) are individually funding their own expenses, but are looking
\nto raise money for medical and school supplies for the families of
\nBon-Repos. Therefore, they are hosting a yard sale this Saturday, June
\n16th from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon. The yard sale will be held at 32
\nHammer Hook Drive (off of Grove Street). They will have a variety of
\nitems for sale including games, furniture, and baby things. All of the
\nmoney raised from the yard sale will go directly to purchasing the
\nmedical and school supplies for the people of Bon-Repos. <\/p>\n
Please plan now to stop by Hammer Hook Drive (from Grove to Hawthorne,
\nthen turn right at bottom of the hill) before you head over to Hanover
\nDay and make a purchase or a donation!<\/p>\n
