*Parking restrictions for Hanover Day*<\/p>\n
The Hanover Cultural Council and the Hanover Day Planning Committee
\nhave been working with the Hanover Police and Fire Departments, as
\nwell as other town officials, to manage traffic and parking on Hanover
\nDay on Saturday, June 16.<\/p>\n
The following parking and traffic plan will help ensure everyone\u2019s
\nsafety and enjoyment of the event. The police will direct traffic and
\nwill enforce parking restrictions throughout the day. Violators will
\nbe towed.<\/p>\n
Free parking will be available at most town parking lots (library,
\ntown hall, and near Sylvester School). The parking lots at Center
\nSchool are restricted to provide clearance for the fireworks launch
\narea. On-street parking will be available on the northbound side of
\nMain Street and the southbound side of Silver Street (alongside the
\ncemetery), but there is absolutely no parking inside the cemetery
\nitself. With the exception of the auto show cars, there also is
\nabsolutely no parking on B. Everett Hall\/Sylvester Field itself.<\/p>\n
During the evening part of the celebration only, parking is allowed
\nonly on Route 139 westbound (the same side as B. Everett
\nHall\/Sylvester Field).<\/p>\n
Several area businesses and organizations have generously volunteered
\nto allow parking for Hanover Day, including Riley Hall, St. Mary\u2019s
\nChurch, the Lutheran Church, Hanover Fitness, Go Go\u2019s Sub Shop,
\nBriggs Stables, Briggs Field and Hanover Dental. Please allow ample
\ntime for parking, and please be courteous and cautious when parking.<\/p>\n
