The summer raffle baskets will be at the John Curtis Free Library from
\nJuly 2 until Labor Day. Get ready to buy your chances for three
\nincredible baskets at the library and support the programs and passes
\nthat you enjoy! <\/p>\n
You might win an American Girl Basket with McKenna (the American Girl
\nof the year), her books, and a special hair brush (retail value of
\n$140). This basket has always been a very popular one!<\/p>\n
New this year, the Friends of the John Curtis Library are able to
\noffer two baskets with cultural passes and full-year memberships
\nthanks to the very generous contributions of several local
\norganizations. Their Adult \u201cGood Life\u201d Basket contains household
\nmemberships (unlimited free admission for 2 adults and up to four
\nchildren) for the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Heritage Museum
\nand Gardens, the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, and
\nHistoric New England (36 properties in New England) — and passes to
\nthe Institute of Contemporary Art\/Boston and the Peabody Essex Museum
\n(retail value of $400).<\/p>\n
The Children\u2019s \u201cGood Life\u201d Basket provides a lucky winner with a
\nfamily membership to the Harvard Museum of Natural History and the
\nSouth Shore Natural Science Center — and passes to Plimoth
\nPlantation, Zoo New England, the New England Aquarium, and the Patriot
\nCinemas. <\/p>\n
Please visit the circulation desks at the library to see all that
\nthese baskets have to offer!<\/p>\n
The Friends of the John Curtis Free Library extend their sincere
\ngratitude to all of the generous cultural organizations who have made
\nthese incredible baskets possible.<\/p>\n
Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5 and may be purchased at the library
\nduring regular library hours beginning July 2 until Labor Day. Buy
\noften and buy lots! They will draw the winning ticket right after
\nLabor Day. <\/p>\n
All proceeds from this event will benefit future library programs and
\nacquisitions. Thanks in advance for your support of this program which
