Dear fellow Hanoverians:
\nThe following thank you letter is re-printed from a recent e-mail from
\nNora Ghostlaw, Hanover High student:<\/p>\n
\u201cWe want to thank you all for helping us out with our yard sale
\nfundraiser to raise money for the people of Bon Repos, Haiti. All of
\nyour contributions added up to a huge offering at the sale. We raised
\njust under $500.00 in sales, and combined with contributions, we
\ntotaled $1,000.00. Kerline Tofuri has arranged for this money to go
\ntowards putting a roof on the school in her home town of Bon Repos.
\nThe school currently has no roof, and we hope to see the work being
\ndone while we are there. We will also be purchasing some basic
\nmedicines (Tylenol, ibuprofen, vitamins) to bring with us to help
\nstock the local health clinic. <\/p>\n
This would not have been possible without the help of all of you. We
\nknow it took time and effort to make the donations for us and we are
\nextremely grateful to you for that. However, as grateful as we are, it
\nis the children and teachers of the school in Bon Repos that are truly
\nbenefitting from your generosity. <\/p>\n
We are eagerly anticipating our upcoming trip and will be happy to
\nshare our experiences with you when we return. <\/p>\n
