*Hanover Historical Society presents: Rebecca Stetson\u2019s 1786 Tea in
\nthe New Republic *<\/p>\n
Admission: $5 Non-members, Members free<\/p>\n
Join the Historical Society July 21st for a special tea for mothers
\nand daughters to celebrate the life of Rebecca Stetson, an American
\ngirl who grew up in the Stetson House right after the American
\nRevolution. Hear stories of what it was like to grow up in Hanover
\nduring the era of the New Republic and what daily life was like for
\nRebecca. The tea will include special blends and cakes recipes from
\nthe New Republic era. Girls are encouraged to bring any doll they wish
\nand dress up if they like.<\/p>\n
Tea starts at 3:00 p.m. and lasts until 5:00 p.m. <\/p>\n

About Hanover Historical Society:
\n The Hanover Historical Society is a 501(C3) nonprofit organization.
\nThe society was incorporated on March 1, 1928. Hanover Historical
\nSociety archives and museum are located in the Stetson House, 514
\nHanover Street in Hanover Massachusetts. The Stetson House is open to
\nthe public for research on Wednesdays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. year
\nround. Additionally the house will also be open for house tours with
\nthe curator on Thursdays 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. June – October this year.<\/p>\n
