They are currently looking for an
individual or organization to help coordinate a cleanup in Hanover.
COASTSWEEP cleanups take place in September and October. The
coordinator gets to select the location and date of the cleanup as
well as recruit volunteers for their event, and over-see things on the
day of the event. The size of the event is not important. Cleanups can
happen in parks or along any water body in town. COASTSWEEP will
provide everything needed for a safe, successful cleanup, including
gloves, garbage bags, and data cards to record what kind of trash is
picked up.
See their website at www.coastsweep.umb.edu

for more information.
Please contact Keith Cialino at 617-287-5570
or keith.cialino001@umb.edu
if you would like to sign up as a coordinator or know someone who
would.

For “Around Town on the Web”,
Cathy H-B

—
“Around Town on the Web” (“ATOTW”) is a community service that has been
provided to self-selected residents of the Town of Hanover since the spring
of 2004.
For submission guidelines and answers to frequently asked questions about
“ATOTW”, please go to http://www.atotw.com.
To search for archived “ATOTW” news, view the archive.
If you would like to be added to this distribution list, click here.
