Dear fellow Hanoverians:
\n*\/Please join the Hanover Firefighters on September 22nd from 10:00
\na.m. to 3:00 p.m. at B. Everett Hall Field in the center of town for
\ntheir Touch A Truck Fundraiser for the American Liver Foundation.\/*
\nTouch A Truck will be a fun filled family event that offers kids and
\nadults alike a chance to see the big rigs and equipment that travel
\nthrough our community every day. Get close to, touch and climb inside
\nand out of over 25 vehicles that will be on display. The growing list
\nof participants includes: Town of Hanover vehicles, Plymouth County
\nSheriff, Massachusetts National Guard, PA Landers, Andy’s Towing, JF
\nPrice, Carver Fire Department, Schlagger’s Towing, Pilgrim Paving,
\nBoston Medflight, Brewster Ambulance, Joseph Ingle Bus Company, and
\nGallant Grader.
\nAlong with the vehicles and equipment will be food, music,
\ndemonstrations, bouncy houses and a helicopter landing (weather and
\navailability dependent) They will also have a candy drop so everyone
\ncan start Halloween early! Come on down to B. Everett Hall Field (near
\nthe bandstand) and bring the family for what promises to be a great
\ntime for all!
\nAdmission will be $3 per person or $5 for twopeople*. All proceeds
\nfrom this event will be donated to the American Liver Foundation (a
\n501(c)3 organization) in the name of Tom Boucher, a Hanover
\nFirefighter who lost his battle with liver disease one year ago.
\n*Receipts will be available if needed.
