Dear fellow Hanoverians:
\nThe Hanover Food Pantry is swamped with requests for food, and their
\nshelves are emptying fast. Several new families have signed up in the
\npast few months along with many clients who have returned for services
\nand the pantry is now running low on everything.
\nPlease do what you can to donate to the food pantry within the next
\nweek or two.
\nThey particularly need:
\nPasta Sauce (NO Pasta, please), Rice, Juice, Baked Beans, Jelly,
\nPeanut Butter, Cookies, Crackers, Cereal, Canned Fruit, Cream Soups
\n(Tomato, Cream of Mushroom or Celery), Canned Ham or Spam (Lite),
\nSchool Snacks and Drink Boxes.
\nPaper products and personal items:
\nTooth paste, Shaving Cream, Soap (no Ivory Please), Deodorant, Shampoo
\nand Conditioner, Dish Detergent, Laundry Detergent, Toilet Paper,
\nFacial Tissues, Paper Towels.
\nThe pantry is open for in-gathering Mondays from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
\nweekly. Please do not arrive with donations on Wednesdays as they are
\ndistributing and need privacy for their clients. There are drop off
\nsites at the library, Shaw’s, Stop and Shop in Norwell and any of the
\nchurches in town.
