\nReady…Set…Go… Pre-register for the 4th Annual Hanover Anchor
\nRace!!!<\/p>\n
Raise money and raise a toast for Hanover Public Schools this Sunday,
\nOctober 14, 2012 at the Hanover Anchor Race and post-race party.<\/p>\n
Your on-line registration includes your new Hanover t-shirt, your
\ndonation to Hanover Schools, a race bag of goodies, your race number,
\nand free food and entertainment!!<\/p>\n
Enjoy your Sunday morning from 9:00 a.m. – noon with family fun and
\nthe road race at Cedar School and\/or your Sunday afternoon at the
\npost-race party at Squires! Watch the Patriots with friends and family
\nwhile you enjoy free pizza and appetizers and bid on silent auction
\nitems at Squires from 12:00 noon \u2013 2:00 p.m.<\/p>\n
The Hanover Anchor Race starts at 10:00 a.m. at Cedar School. It is a
\n4 mile professionally timed walk or run. The free little-kids-fun-run
\nstarts at 9:00 a.m. at Cedar School. YMCA volunteers will organize
\nappropriate distances for ages 2-10 on the school field. Face
\npainting, tattoos, balloon animals and entertainment for all begins at
\n9:00 a.m. There will be raffles and an auction too!<\/p>\n
Anchor Race route: <\/p>\n
The race begins at the Cedar School driveway, goes east on Cedar
\nStreet, continues north up Main Street, goes through Stone Meadow,
\nBates, Bonney, Linden, Curtis Mill, Bayberry, Homestead Lane, down
\nWhiting Street and back to Cedar Street, finishing at Cedar Elementary
\nSchool driveway. <\/p>\n
Race prizes:<\/p>\n
Divisional prizes and awards for many ages. All little-kids-fun-run
\nparticipants receive medals.<\/p>\n
Race pre-registration:<\/p>\n
Pre-registration is recommended to be sure you receive a t-shirt and
\nrace bag, so sign up soon. There are 3 ways to register: on-line at
\nwww.active.com
\n , or Saturday, 10\/13 at the Squires parking lot from 8:30 a.m. \u2013
\n11:00 a.m., or Sunday, 10\/14 at Cedar School from 8:00 a.m. – 9:30
\na.m. Registration is $20 for students, $25 for all others, $15 for
\n“Fun-Run” shirts, and the little kid\u2019s run is free.<\/p>\n
