After only about 12 hours of no internet, phone or cable, “Around Town
\non the Web” is back after a windy and rainy Hurricane Sandy couple of
\ndays. Hope all is well with you and yours. As of 9:30 this morning,
\n891 Hanover households were without power. Please reach out to your
\nfriends across town and offer them a place to shower, a warm meal, or
\na cell phone recharging station.<\/p>\n
As anyone with schoolchildren surely knows by now, Hanover Schools are
\nclosed again today. Town Hall is open, however. Real estate taxes are
\ndue on Thursday and the Registrar’s Office is preparing for election
\nday a week from today. A busy week, for sure!<\/p>\n
One of my favorite new web pages to visit over the past couple of days
\nwas the National Grid power outage map found here:

\n . Another good source of storm information was the Hanover Emergency
\nManagment Twitter feed found at Hanover EMA on http:\/\/www.twitter.com
