\nAs the mother of an Eagle Scout candidate, I am delighted to forward
\nthis e-mail request from another industrious Eagle Scout candidate
\nhere in Hanover! For those who may not know, Eagle Scout candidates
\nare required to do many hours of community service and organize the
\nefforts of others to assist with their Eagle project. The scout
\nbenefits from the leadership skills they learn and the community
\nbenefits from their hard work! In this case, I am also delighted to
\nhelp make the connection between Hanover\u2019s own Kerline Tofuri of Jou
\nNouvo in Haiti who has been previously featured here on \u201cAround Town
\non the Web\u201d (go to www.atotw.com
\n and click on the \u201carchives\u201d for more information) and a Hanover
\nEagle Scout candidate.
\nPlease take a moment now to read about and consider supporting Andrew
\nPensoneault\u2019s Eagle Scout project as written here in his own words:
\n\u201cMy name is Andrew Pensoneault. I am a Boy Scout from Troop 1
\nHanover, and am currently working on my Eagle Project. This involves
\nmaking and sending 100 backpacks filled with school supplies to Haiti.
\nI am working with a local organization, Jou Nouvo, on this project,
\nand am in need of supplies. What I need most is backpacks,
\ncalculators, scissors, and pencil boxes. However, any school supplies
\nwill be appreciated. The supplies can be dropped off at Riley Hall (in
\nthe upstairs large room), at Saint Andrew’s, or at my home address, 9
\nSimmons Road (off of Mann’s Drive). I will be collecting supplies for
\nthe next two weeks. I am also willing to pick up supplies if you
