Dear fellow Hanoverians:
\nHanover Cub Scouts Pack 39 would like to remind all Hanover residents
\nabout their annual Christmas Tree Pick-Up and Recycling Service. The
\nscouts will take away and recycle your discarded Christmas tree on
\nSaturday, January 5th, 2013. The requested donation is $10 per tree.
\nResidents may contact the scouts for tree pickup via e-mail at
\nxmastree_pickup@yahoo.com
\n . If you prefer, you may call 617-827-0720. Tell them your name,
\naddress and phone number. Trees should be curbside by 8:00 a.m. on
\nJanuary 5th. Please place a check (payable to Pack 39) in a plastic
\nbag and attach it to the tree.
\nThis event is the annual fundraiser for the scouts and integrates
\ncommunity service with environmental awareness. There are several area
\nbusinesses that donate their trucks and drivers to assist them in
\ncollecting the trees. The Hanover DPW allows us the use of their space
\nand to bring the trees to them for recycling.
